Leela James Taps Raheem Devaughn For ‘Incredible’ Duet

Leela James has enlisted the help of “Bulletproof” singer/songwriter Raheem DeVaughn on her forthcoming album “My Soul”! 

Teaming up on “Mr. Incredible,” produced by Carl ‘Chucky’ Thompson, James says collaborating with DeVaughn was simply two friends coming together for a spontaneous project.  She said, “Raheem and I are good friends, and we’d been talking for some time about doing something together,”.  And, “We finally happened to be in the same place at the same time, and we just made it happen. It really wasn’t something that we planned. It was just something spontaneous that took its own course.”

James is gearing up for the release of “My Soul,” through Stax Records on 25th May 2010.  Also, A video for James’ latest single, “Tell Me You Love Me” premiered recently.
