Chris Brown’s Progress At Court
In court last year, Chris Brown plead guilty to felony assault charges after beating Rihanna last February in Los Angeles. He had been ordered by the court to not come in contact with Rihanna until 2014 and must complete labor oriented community service and domestic violence counseling.
On Thursday the he was in court for a hearing on his progress in keeping the court ruling. He received a strong progress Report.
Chris Brown has been busy according to documents presented during the hearing in Los Angeles. The “Crawl” singer has not only completed seventeen domestic violence related classes but, has also completed 32 days of hard labor stemming from his felony assault case.
Brown and his attorney, Mark Geragos, were asked to visit Judge Patricia Schnegg in Los Angeles today to provide proof that Brown has been fulfilling the terms of his plea deal. In addition to providing proof of progress, including a letter from a Virginia official praising Brown’s hard work, the judge gave the “I Can Transform Ya” singer permission to travel overseas between May 18 - June 27.
Dressed casually for the court appearance, Chris Brown appeared at ease Thursday. He is scheduled to be back in court on May 11, 2010 for another progress hearing.
