Bobby Valentino, Rihanna Heading The UMA 2009 Nominees

The most sensational news of the week is that Bobby Valentino and Rihanna are going to lead the pack of nominees for this year’s Urban Music Awards.

Valentino, reportedly enjoying success with the single “I Apologize,” has achieved nod for three awards including Best Music Video, Best R&B Act and Best Male Act where he joins Flo Rida, Kid Cudi, and Dizzee Rascal.

The controversial pop diva Rihanna is also nominated for four awards including the Best Female Act 2009, Artist of the Year 2009, Best R&B Act and Best Music Video for “Rehab” (feat. Justin Timberlake).

The Urban Music Awards (UMA’s) slated to be organised on 17th of July in New York City, also fĂȘting Busta Rhymes with a Lifetime Achievement Award.

R&B star Ne-Yo is also nominated for two UMA’s.

The Urban Music Awards is one of the biggest awards shows in Europe, which gives a chance to music fans, booking agents, tour promoters worldwide to vote online for their favourites.

    I am eagerly waiting for the Urban Music Award show of this year. A number of my favourite star have earned nominees and i think it will be an exciting event.
