Mariah Carey, Jamie Foxx Celebrate Platinum Jubilee Of Apollo Theater

Mariah Carey and Jamie Foxx are reportedly the first among the stellar roster of talent, who are planning to make an appearance at the world famous Apollo Theater’s 75th anniversary celebration.

Carey and Foxx will, in addition to other acts, honor Hall of Fame inductees Patti Labelle and Quincy Jones.
Hosted by celebrated comedian/radio personality Steve Harvey, the 75th anniversary will be a gala benefit concert on June 8. The grand event will also feature exclusive performances from Anita Baker and the O’Jays.
Camille and Bill Cosby will be reportedly honored with both the Ruby Dee and Ossie Davis Arts & Humanitarian Award during the ceremony.
The Cosby’s follow Denzel and Pauletta Washington who were recognized recently for their contributions and will be honored in the ceremony.
