Lil Wayne, nowadays is in media coverage nowadays for suing a producer on the charge of supposedly sampling one of Lil’s song without permission.

A lawsuit registered last year against Lil Wayne criminates him of copyright infringement, saying he failed to secure permission to sample folk singer Karma-Ann Swanepoel’s song “Once” on his track “I Feel Like Dying.”

Wayne’s lawyers foresaw with a suit of their own last week, saying Rebel Rock Productions Inc., of Coconut Creek, Fla., produced “I Feel Like Dying” and was responsible for receiving any necessary licensing agreements.

However, Rebel Rock has not responded to Lil Wayne’s claims and does not have a lawyer named in court records.

“I Feel Like Dying” isn’t a track on “Tha Carter III,” but a lawyer for Urband & Lazar contends that Lil Wayne has merely promoted the album by singing that song in concert and allowing fans to download it for free on his Web site.

I think if Wayne is found guilty of copyrighting issue he should be punished. Anyways , I am a big fan of Lil and just love the voice.
