Rihanna Captures Triple Platinum Brown Scandal Cannot Affect Her Popularity

Although involved in the year’s most talked-about controversy, Def Jam recording star Rihanna has managed to bag credits for the album “Good Girl Gone Bad” and single “Disturbia”.

Both of these has proved smashing hits of the year.

Rihanna’s 2008 single “Disturbia” has been certified three (3X) times Platinum by the RIAA on Mach 26. The Barbadian songbird has again proved that she is still riding high on not only the radio charts but sales charts as well.

“Disturbia” becomes the third single from “Good Girl Gone Bad” to be certified multi-Platinum. In fact, “Disturbia” was just certified double Platinum in December, revealing that Rihanna has moved at least 1 million copies of the single in three months.
