Kids’ Choice 09’ Honored Beyonce with Nickelodeon Trophy

Famous pop diva Beyonce leads the group of iconic stars like Will Smith, Jesse McCartney, and The Jonas Brothers at the Network’s 22nd Annual Kids’ Choice Awards Saturday.

They reportedly bagged the most desired Nickelodeon labeled orange blimp trophies this day.

Awarded for their recent works in films, albums and overall star power, these stars were hailed by the warm appraisals of the kids and the attending celebrities including Usher, Jermaine Dupri, and Soulja Boy.

Brown, since withdrew his nomination for this year’s awards, was expected to skip the ceremony, however, Rihanna was highly expected to make her first major appearance after her February 8 altercation.

While talking about the Rihanna and Brown, Soulja Boy told reporters “For them not to be here is very sad. I was looking forward to seeing them here”. He also added, “Yeah, right now, it’s a delicate time. I hope that they both get through it in a positive way.”

This day, Beyonce is awarded for the category of Favorite Song (Single Ladies) and Will Smith for the category of Favorite Movie Actor (Hancock). Jesse McCartney and Miley Cyrus bagged Kids’ Choice blimps for Favorite Male and Female Singer respectively.

Hosted by Dwayne Johnson, the award ceremony was organized at UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion.
