Kanye West may be Beyonce’s ‘Leading Fan’-Beyonce greater than Tina Turner!
Beyonce is unstoppable. She stormed the charts fiercely, hand in hand with her alter ego Sasha and now she’s been compared to legendary Tina Turner and proclaimed to be greater! Oh and not to forget the little fact that Kanye West seems to be on the road to being her ‘leading fan’.
Kanye West who just released his new album “808’s & Heartbreak” isn’t shy to sing the “Bootylicious” stars praises, telling reporters in New Zealand that…she is just as great, if not greater, than artists we had in the past…she’s probably greater than Tina Turner.
Laying the laud on Beyonce is becoming quite a habit for West who just a few weeks back said that her single “Single Ladies” was a step up for Beyonce who also acts in the film “Cadillac Records.”
West is emphatic when he says Beyonce is more than a star she’s a legend exclaiming “Nobody really wants to recognize that Beyoncé is a f***ing living legend.”
Hey it doesn’t hurt if all the stars sing the praises of all the other stars until its a mutual appreciation society, does it? It fills up airtime and then the consumers go out and buy their stuff and everyone wins. Its hardly news that everyone loves Beyonce - she is ALWAYS on TV or radio or in magazines - its Beyonce Domination!
For the past few weeks, it really has been evident that Beyonce is absolutely unstoppable. There are enough reasons to support this. First it was Sasha, followed by the top positions on them music charts, the great shows, the immense success and everything else. It really looks like this is her time.
“808’s & Heartbreak” is a great album. I read somewhere that the songs are mind blowing and very cool. This is Beyonce’s time and it is very normal that everyone becomes her fan. However, I think Kanye West went a little too far by saying that Beyonce is greater than Tina Turner.
She is a good singer, there is no doubt about that. She has plenty of fans, there is nothing unnatural about that too but a comparison with Tina Turner is too much. Kanye West should have given it though before speaking out in public. You can make the comparison but how can you say she is better?
