Brutha thanks fans for “Brothers to Brutha” success.
“Brothers to Brutha” was a success and BET reality stars and R&B band Brutha wants to thank their fans.The show is about the rise to fame of Brutha after inking a deal with Def Jam and their debut album.
Cheyenne said “We were just so grateful and ecstatic that [the show] came on because we worked so hard on it. And so far the feedback is positive, so we’re feeling good about it.” Laughingly saying “It’s crazy to see it on TV. Our family is kind of nuts.”
The first episode which was recorded between Atlanta and California follws the lives of the five brothers as they auditioned for Jermaine Dupri while also delving into personal issues of family life and fame.
The group consists of brothers Grady, 24, Cheyenne, 21, Jacob, 19, Jared, 20, and Anthony, 22. Sister 2 Sister reveals that the group has been rehearsing for this moment for many years. Grady confesses “We’ve been singing all of our lives.”
The boys have 2 mothers but share the same father. Both mums appear on the show. Grady points out that their father was a huge influence on their careers and there was no alternatives when it came to singing. “He used to make us watch old tapes of the Jackson 5, The Temptations and many others.”
It really feels good to see the personal struggle and lives of the five talented brothers. The program shows how the band rose to fame after they made a deal with Def Jam. We also get to see how their debut album was made. Their family issues and matter really amaze everyone. I love this R&B band.
These guys are really preparing themselves for the big time. I hope their move pays off. On the show eldest brother Grady said “We not only pride ourselves on our acappella harmonies but thrive on the choreographed precision moves that take you back to the days when groups moved rather than just walked around the stage, Our sound is fresh and uplifting. It’s about being young and experiencing life’s ups and downs.”

This emotional series will surely touch your heart and make sure you watch it if you want to know the inside story. They had to really struggle in a family of many siblings. If they wanted something then they had to work hard to achieve it. That is their story.
You are right. The emotional series is very touching indeed. I did not get the opportunity to watch but I managed to see a little of the excerpts. That provided me a good peep into the series and I sort of understood what was the content like. It is great. We need more of such programs nowadays.
