Beyonce, Ludacris take chart nosedive!
Ludacris and Beyonce are experiencing a week of turbulence on the chart ride but Kanye West hit his third No 1 with “808’s & Heartbreak” selling 450,000 copies in the United States.Nielsen Soundscan/Billboard reports say that the figures indicate that this is West’s lowest debut on the chart since 2004’s “College Dropout.”
Ludacris who is the No 2 entry for the week sold 213,000 copies to debut at a shockingly low No 5 with his new album “Theater of the Mind.” This is a blow to Ludacris’ hit making album record which boasted continuously hitting the top spot since “The Word of Mouf” in 2001.
Bootylicious Beyonce who proved she is strong enough to spin success plummeting down the charts to No 4 from her perch at No 1, selling 257,000 copies.
The coming week will prove interesting as the numbers showing the total sales of Britney Spears’ “Circus” and Akon’s “Freedom will be released, followed by albums by Musiq Soulchild and Brandy.

Plus our lovely Beyonce needs to watch what she says. I may agree with her comments about the Jackson family, but it doesn’t do to badmouth others in public. She’ll get bad press for that.
It is not the best of times for Ludacris. He is the No 2 entry for this week but he sold only 213,000 copies. It is the time for number games foe all the artists. Even our lovely Beyonce is a victim to this game as she had dropped down from position 1. Too sad for her.
Beyonce was at the top and now she is down by a few points. Now everyone can’t remain at the top for a long time. Everyone should get a chance. Now some different drama will take place once Britney’s “Circus” and Akon’s “Freedom” will release.
