Brutha has fresh sound: album to release soon.
Watch out World! Brutha are all set to make it big. They’ve just premiered on BET but before the big night Brutha wanted to show the world they aren’t just a bunch of pretty faces on R&B and took on Jodeci’s “Love U 4 Life” in their acapella video to prove they really do have the groove.
‘Brothers to Brutha’ sketches the lives and experiences of the Harrell Brothers who work to juggle the pressures of fame while keeping their family ties strong.
As Singersroom previously reported, Brutha’s debut album will be released via Def Jam and is slated for release on Dec 23. The album is much anticipated and features the Corna Boyz, Jazze Pha, 112’s Daron Jones and The Heavyweights.
Brutha is intent on proving their just as good as the bigwigs like B2K, Jackson 5 and New Edition but also stress their sound is different. Grady, the eldest Brutha insists
“We not only pride ourselves on our cappella harmonies but thrive on the choreographed precision moves that take you back to the days when groups moved rather than just walked around the stage,” adding “Our sound is fresh and uplifting. It’s about being young and experiencing life’s ups and downs.”

I’m based in the UK and haven’t heard much about Brutha - but I like their sound. Are they a put-together band? I guess they really are brothers. And cheers for switching me onto singersroom - theres some new stuff there really worth checking out.
That is really bad. I mean how could I miss the premier? Anyway Dec 23 is just here, (almost) and I am going to buy the new album. I wonder what the Corna Boyz, The Heavyweights, Jazze Pha, and 112’s Daron Jones are going to do. I love “Can’t Stop The Music” anyway.
