In this section we’ll appreciate your comments on our 24 hour Soul Music TV channel. Whether good or bad! As far as we’re aware there is no other music blog with a 24 hour TV channel attached to it. And we’re sure there is no Soul or R&B music website TV channel broadcasting quality back in the days, classic sweet Soul music online 24 hours a day. This is just something that we have always wanted to do. However, we need your input and feedback. Please tell us what you think of Soul Music TV, whether good or bad, we’ll appreciate your comments.
Soul Music TV is a fantastic idea…especially for people like me who rarely switch on the television anyway and whose work is scouring the internet. It’s heartwarming to know that good music won’t ever get lost. I can have it at the click of the mouse. Thank you!
There are infinite sources in the internet for good music but I’d have to say that this has the best sound quality. How do you do it? It sounds exactly like the old PVC records my mother used to play. I feel like I’ve taken a good dose of home. Wow.
I appreciate the people behind Soul Music TV. My days are infinitely more vibrant now that I’m able to listen to my favorite hits. There are radio stations that used to fill my need for some good old music but your selections are the best.
Where do you find this stuff? A good friend alerted me to this site and I’ve only started listening but these are hard-to-find songs. Great job!
Soul TV has all my favorite songs and artists in one channel. I never have to change it. Tell all your friends and family. I kinda feel like I’ve discovered a whole new generation of wonderful music.

I’m a Motown fan. Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, The Supremes, Gladys Knight, and Rose Royce — are a few of the best Motown had to offer. I’m not surprised that to this day I hear their music everywhere. Even in the unlikeliest places. Thank God that Soul TV plays a lot of Motown.
I love dancing with my husband (and even with my kids) to your tunes, Soul TV. I can always rely on you to play my favorite hits in the 60s, 70s and 80s. Kudos to you and to everyone who contributed to it. Spread the word, Soul TV is here to stay.

This is my first visit to this site, and I think that you guys are doing a bang-up job of keeping soul music alive in today’s popular music oriented world. Sanctuary is a broadcast quality show, exclusively released on the web. I don’t work for them (though I’d love to), I just like Soul Music TV.
In simple language, it’s a super market (no offense with the word, please) where you can meet all the stars of your SOUL revival under one roof :)….I am very pleased with this as my kids now know what kind of music we had during our time.
Oh guys you have kept me sane today - the phones have been ringing off the hook, people yelling, tetchy boss, moans about money, - so thank you for playing some soothing sounds for me. On go the headphones and I’m grooving. The next customer will hear the smile in my voice…

The 24 hour Soul Music TV channel is great for de-stressing. Whenever I feel like relaxing, I watch this channel and enjoy the music, which touches my soul. I can watch my favorite artists and surf the net at the same time. That is really a great thing for those who remain glued to the computer. Now I don’t have to turn on my TV set!

I haven’t heard some of these tunes in years - I’d almost forgotten how great they are - Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Roberta Flack, Jackson Five, Diana Ross & The Supremes, Dionne Warwick, Aretha - the list goes on and on. Just don’t stop!
Soul TV is wonderful. It not only gives me the chance to catch up with my favorite music numbers, but also lets me watch interviews of my favorite artists. It feels great to hear stars of the yesteryears talk about their success, happy moments, life story, past and a lot more.
I agree with Roland. This is my history (or should I say herstory - cos in fact lots of the greatest soul singers were women pouring out their emotions in song). Just keep playing those divine tunes.
My girlfriend Ana would agree. I have to listen to Erykah Badu, Sugababes, Toni Braxton, Brandy, Beyonce, Alicia Keys and when I am done with that she’ll go all golden oldie on me and play Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, Gloria Gaynor or even Dionne Warwick. She is glued and I mean glued to your TV slot. Still it keeps her out of my hair. So keep it up.
I agree with Craig. Yes Soul Music TV does a great job for people like us. The selections and music on Soul TV is better than all these radio stations. Whenever I want to watch some old song videos, I tune into Soul TV and get all that I want.
I just saw the video for Tavares - Heaven must be missing an angel on Soul Music TV and it took me back to a 70’s disco party I went to where we all had those enormous flares and garish colours. It was the bizness. Now I’m checking it out for some more ideas for the Xmas party at work!
Everyday my love for Soul TV is growing deeper. Whenever I need for some comforting music, I turn to Soul TV. It plays the best of music round the clock and it never gives you a chance to get bored. I love it and I have stopped listening to radio now.
How come there are no other websites with 24 hour soul TV ! This is fantastic. Whoever is the brainchild behind this, give yourself a pat on the back. Since discovering you a few weeks ago there hasn’t been a day go by when I haven’t felt the urge to chill with some good old soul and SMTV hits the button every time.
Here in Spain we have just lost Flymusic channel which did not have high enough ratings to continue. But I have switched to watching you. Please please keep going - I’ll tell all my friends to watch. We need your channel.

I just wanted to say I am continually impressed by the QUALITY of soul music tv. So many times I try to watch a tune on YouTube and it takes hours to locate and when you do the quality is so variable. Occasionally on SMTV the production values vary, depending on the original recording of course, but generally the sound is crystal clear and the picture is very watchable. Well done!
Soul TV it’s a very briliant ideea. He has all my favorite singers and songs and make me feel like … dancing.
I like Soul TV. He has a height class. It remembers me of the golden years of R&B with cool artists and greats songs.
I think you could add more of the new soul and R&B artists. I do like the oldies, but maybe more people would watch if you had some of the great new singers, rappers - now I am being told that you do have them! Well, keep it up then cos I like the idea that its playing 24-7 and now its on in our house instead of radio.

I have searched for other sources of music online, but nothing can compete against the quality of Soul TV. It is the best from every angle. Throughout the day and throughout the night I get to hear all my favorite songs. I also like the other shows, like the interviews with some of the greatest stars of the yesteryears.

There is nothing like Soul TV in the world. It is a boon for modern people. I am very find fond of the programs that are shown round the clock. Whenever I visit the site I find that best shows are in progress. The quality of the videos is also brilliant. Great job, Soul TV.
My only complaint about the wonderful Soul Music TV is that its not searchable - so I can’t replay my favourite classics when I want. But I guess thats a reason to keep watching as you never know what gems are going to pop up. After all, I can search for the tracks on YouTube when I already know what I’m after - what Soul Music does best is make the choice for me, and that means its effortless. I’ve been listening tonight while I cook pasta and drink red wine, and its sure going down well for me.

I agree with you. Yes we should have something special for Christmas this year. We would be really happy if Soul TV grants this wish. It would be such a great treat for music lovers like us to hear some nice Christmas songs. There should be something for people of all ages.
I have some suggestions - how about Winter Wonderland by Aretha Franklin? Or When a Child is Born by Johnny Mathis. Even O Christmas Tree by Nat King Cole. Mariah Carey has done albums of Christmas material and some great videos too. This would get us in the spirit we so sorely lack at the moment.
Well I have been listening to, rather watching Soul music TV for quite some time now. The music quality is great. My parents too have become its fans. My dad loves those old numbers and he feels that he is very grateful that something like Soul TV exists today for music fans.

This Soul Music TV is great! I’ve set a program to wake my computer up as my backup alarm - and guess what’s playing! Yup - Soul Music TV it is! Refreshing and great to watch! Keep it up guys! Anyone who loves soul will freak out on this music!
One of the big pluses about Soul Music TV is the way that it just loads straight off the bat and starts giving you it sweet and smooth. If I need to chill, its on. If I want to feel good and optimistic, its on. If I am feeling lonesome, its on. Nothing better for chasing the blues away.
There are so many music channels today, but I don’t have the time to watch TV. It is true. That is because everyone has their own timings for watching soaps, news or other programs. There is always a fight over the remote control and the channels. Thus I prefer the internet and Soul TV is the prefect solution for me.
I LOVE Soul Music TV and I just discovered the music store with all those albums of soul classics! I can’t believe there are 80 volumes (or is it 40 cos its two to an album?) No wonder you can play the best stuff on this channel - its like you OWN soul music.
East or west Soul music TV is the best. It ends our thirst for music all through the day and all the night. What else could we ask for? I really don’t have words to express my gratitude. We would always like to be happy and Soul TV is one of the reasons of our happiness.
Last Saturday night Soul Music was the backdrop to my grown-ups pyjama party, and it sure helped! I saved on hiring a DJ and we crooned to some familiar tunes, and danced in our PJ’s, and discussed our faves while we painted our nails. Ooo, it was such fun, I might just have to do it again! As I was going through all the comments here I realized that I share something common with all these people. That is passion for music. Another thing that I learned is that everyone loves Soul TV. You can’t describe it with words. You gotto watch it.
I do love Soul Music TV which is why I was disappointed to see it playing one of those awful photo-montage videos of Beyonces Wishing on a Star earlier. Stick to authentic videos and leave the other nonsense to YouTube. Please.
I take it all back Soul Music TV! The following track was Betty Wright singing Pain and her voice is just AWESOME! The musical arrangement was tight, and for a live recording the quality was exceptional. Well done. Wherever this feed comes from, they have a storehouse of fab tracks.

Do some people really make it through the day without listening to music? That’s not living! My neighbours have just heard me accompany The Commodores/Lionel Ritchie at top volume on Easy, and I feel so much better for it. Release the pressure guys, and croon along with Soul Music TV.

I get what you’re saying Firebird. I have to have music in my car, in my workshop, in my house. I listen in the morning and late at night. Someone once said that soul music provides the soundtrack to our life - it sure does in my house anyway! And its Soul Music TV all the way.
Soul Music TV brings a smile to my face in the mornings. The radio is all doom and gloom, even early morning TV doesn’t do it for me. It’s Soul Music all the way from now on.
I want to know how you pick which tunes are showing on Soul Music TV? Is it a music feed from somewhere else - in which case you can’t decide what tracks are playing? Because, if not, and you can control which tracks are playing, I think you should declare certain artists certain weeks - like Smokey Robinson week or Aretha Franklin week, so we could get to see and hear some of those rare tracks that never get played elsewhere. NOW THAT would make you truly unique!
I’m still listening SMTV - so keep up the good work. When I get home, the pc goes on, and a couple of clicks later I’m able to unwind with a bit of good old fashioned soul. I bet my family appreciate coming home to chilled Dad these days!
i was very pleased to see you had a station that caters to the 50 + crowd it is a delite that my wife and i can muisic we once grooved to. one thing i must say the rap lords at there age they are you would think that at there mature age they would be raping positive rap instead of glorifying the disabilitys we suffer do to poor education all they are doing is advertising there way of life in a lite we have been struggling to leave and we have to keep wallying in it some say well its only life that we live in but do we have to replay those rolls as a cool hip dude brother it anit music if you have to bleep it or put a smoke screen in front of a rappers private spot to elude his sexual gestures. man i must say the guys back then at the age these guys are if they would have stared to perform the ways these guy do now .. i tell you by now rapp wouldnt be rapp it would be called attack and that is what it is today look at it the p. diddys and so far well off to do men still involved in street brawls wow i can see it now marvin gaye ,steveie wonder ,tammy terrell and the rest of these singers fighting and shooting at clubs so again is rapp the blame no cause the music old school but there mouths are bad school thank you keep up the good work video tv .
I think Soul music TV is the most entertaining TV for people like us, who love to listen to music all through the day. Even when I am studying at night sometimes I take a break by watching my favorite videos on Soul TV.

I like Soul TV for a different reason - it keeps my kids off crappy sites. They like to tune in to Soul TV when they log on and keep it running in the background so they can listen to the music. Its nice to see them enjoying good ol soul at their age.
Soul TV needs to play some more variety of music - its great and i love it, but I would love it even more if they played some rare soul that is tough to see otherwise as well.

“Hard to find” classic soul tunes make the Soul TV a fantastic place for the music lovers. You can find the recently released music albums in the stores but what about the music lost long back. I find the Soul TV really interesting

What do you think about the track “It’s your Thing” by The Isley Brothers? It’s the influential funk single of its time. I find the track always interesting. I think you should include it in the list of Top R&B music , you are compiling.
Not only the music videos only, I also like the artist’s interviews featured on the Soul Music too. These interviews are knowledge giving. Being a great addict of music, I listen to the radio all the time. But I think Soul TV is a great idea. It’s better to switch on the Soul TV than to turn on the radio stations because I can see the music videos on the TV but cannot on the radio.

in spite of having a television, mit’s not possible for me to listen to ait whenever I like. i am in a marketing profession. So my only friend in STV. When ever I feel bore and packed up with so many workload, just switch on the Soul Tv and it just relieves my tension.
